Hey!

Hey class! This is my first blog for our class. I never know what to say in these things, so I guess this will be short today. I am a senior English Major. I'm taking this class as one of my required electives so that I may graduate this summer. I'm not exactly sure what to expect from this class, but it should be fun!

Congratulations on your first post. I am sort of new at this as well so most of my comments are short as well. I hope you have a good time in the class. From what I hear Doc Hoc is great and the class should be a lot of fun.I am a general studies major who will graduate in May. I work 40 plus hours per week so online is how I am finishing out my college career. Good luck and feel free to post on my blog babbling brooke.

I am happy to see your blog. I have such a hard time knowing what to write on these things as well. I am graduating in December and trying to fight off the crazy senioritis I am feeling. I am excited to have another online class with Doc Hoc. Visit my page (charity justice jubilee) if you want. Talk with you soon.

Hi Beth, it is good to in another online Hochenauer class with you. I am planning to be graduating this spring too, now that I have linguistics out of the way! Good luck in your final semester.

What are you planning on doing with your English degree?

Holly and Luke! Hopefully you will look at this, but for some reason, my comp wouldn't let me look at your blogs. I'll keep trying. It's great to see you both!!! It's good to know that there are real people in these online classes! =)

Hi Mike! What to do with an English Major? This is the question that everyone and their dog loves to ask. I'm not really sure what I will eventually do with my major. I would love to one day write. I also would love to teach my children (that I will one day have) to read and write and analyze and think critically. However, with a career, I do not plan on going into an "English" field. I currently work for a financial company, and I love it. I've learned a ton and I plan on working there after I graduate. I believe that, working where I'm working, I'll be able to save a lot of the money that I make so that I can do whatever I want to do in the near future.
